Hello, you gorgeous conscious babe,
I am so excited to share this blog with you today. Listen, I've gotten myself into a lot of pickles throughout my life. I've created one too many mountains for myself in the form of deep financial debt, family drama, bad relationships, and an unhealthy body.
And though I truly believe everything happens for a reason, sometimes I look at people struggling and think, "it is truly so easy to get out."
I spent decades sitting in my own poop. But alas, you know what they say "when the student is ready, the teacher appears."
So if you're reading this, consider it your sign- that you are ready. Even if you already know this stuff, allow yourself to take in the reminder.
It's time to change gears, babe. Are you ready? Ok, without further ado, here are my three top tips for shifting your reality.
I Wonder. Sonia Choquette is one of my favorite intuitive teachers of all time, and if you can, I suggest you get your hands on all her books and binge all her Gaia Specials. But Anyway, I digress. Sonia teaches a great tool called, I wonder? Where all you have to do is wander out loud.
Ask your questions out loud like this "I wonder, how will I attract money today" "I wonder, how will I make someone's day today?" "I wonder, how will life surprise me today?" "I wonder how my life will get better today?" "I wonder how this part of my body will heal." Wondering over and over essentially says yes to life.
It's no coincidence Leonardo DaVinci required his apprentices to wonder out loud about a hundred things a day and created a monumental amount of inventions.
Change your memories. Did you know that there are studies after studies that show your body doesn't know the difference between a traumatic event and remembering a traumatic event? The book Becoming Supernatural describes it as this…
"A memory can become neurologically branded in our brain. The emotions are stored in our body, and that's how our past becomes our biology."
In other words, the more you allow your mind to go around in circles, the more you close yourself off to the future. You become all matter and less energy. And if you want to get good about manifesting the life you want, you have to be able to shift your energy.
Dr. Joe Dispenza has two great meditations you can purchase or listen to for free on YouTube or Spotify that allow you to change your memories. So that instead of replaying the past, you start "remembering" the future.
These meditations have turned out to be so potent, people report having healed from cancer, changing their money story, and even completely healing from past traumas.
As God for Guidance. Again, I believe in God, but of course, you're welcome to choose your own guidance. There is a great prayer in The Course in Miracles that goes like this:
God,
Where would you have me go?
What would you have me do?
What would you have me say, and to whom?
I'll tell you what this doesn't have to be… This doesn't have to be you deciding to throw in the towel and just let God take the wheel (though that's an amazing way to get through hardships). This can be, God, I've made up my mind. I want to be a super successful hairstylist, I'm ready to do it, but I don't know where to start...Where would you have me go? What would you have me do? What would you have me say and to whom? And then just follow your intuition.
Gabby Berenstain talks about asking for a sign when you recite this prayer. You do this by creating your own sign. The only rules are that it has to be the first thing that pops into your head, but not something that is everywhere. For example, you wouldn't want a taxi to be your sign if you live in New York because that might get confusing.
So, choose your sign, and follow your intuition. And every time you see your sign, you'll know you are on the right path.
